Clay Seiple, DO - Program Director

Board Certified Family Medicine since 2000

Medical School: Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Residency: Western Reserve Hospital (formerly known as Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital)

Program Director Family Medicine Residency Western Reserve Hospital since 2010

"As Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Western Reserve Hospital, I am proud to be part of a program that stands out in its ability to produce physicians who are confidently prepared to begin their careers as an attending or go on to fellowship upon completion of their residency.  Our Family Medicine residents are given the opportunity to develop their clinical skills through supported autonomy. They are treated as junior attending physicians throughout their residency with the support of expert faculty who ensure excellent patient care and resident education. If you are looking for a program that puts patient care at the core of your training – with your own schedule of patients starting in year one – this is the program for you."

Dr. Seiple has been involved in student and/or resident education since starting to practice in 2000. "My goal is to teach the next generation to be better than my generation of physicians." He is an avid golfer, loves to work outside in the yard, and enjoys experiencing new food and drinks. Among his favorite adventures is traveling with his wife (married in ’97), twin boys age 21, and daughter age 18.
