  • Integrative Dry Needling
    • A fine, thin, flexible filament needle is used to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial, muscular, and connective tissues that are considered trigger points to your pain.
    • It works by releasing or inactivating trigger points and relieving pain 
    • A trigger point is a taut band of muscle located within a large muscle group
    • They can be tender to the touch and refer pain to distant parts of the body

Speech Therapy                      

  • Speech/language/communication disorders
    • Impairments from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological disease processes such as: Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia
  • Swallowing disorders (Dysphagia) 
    • Clinical swallow evaluation
    • Modified Barium Swallow Studies
      • An x-ray of a person’s swallow function performed in our Radiology department on an inpatient and outpatient basis
    • Dysphagia therapy services offered based on results of the evaluation(s)

    • Voice disorders which affect the quality, loudness, and vocal stamina of one’s voice
