Western Reserve Hospital has been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as one of 313 hospitals nationwide to receive a prestigious five-star rating for quietness from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This rating reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing a peaceful environment for patients throughout their stay, emphasizing the importance of quality care and comfort, especially at night.
The five-star rating comes from the CMS "Patient Survey (HCAHPS)-Hospital" database, which assesses hospital performance based on patient feedback. The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay, was completed between July 2023 and June 2024. Data was last updated April 30, 2025.
“Earning a five-star rating for quietness reflects our unwavering dedication to patient-centered care and the hard work of our staff,” said Dr. Robert Kent, President and CEO, Western Reserve Hospital. “We recognize that a peaceful environment is essential to healing, and we continuously strive to supply patients with a calm atmosphere throughout their stay.”
