Western Reserve Hospital was recently named among 529 hospitals nationwide for its 5-star nurse communication according to recent data from a CMS Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. Becker’s Hospital Review recently shared the complete list of all 5-star-rated hospitals for this accolade.

Gallo, MBA, BSN, RN, Chief Operating Officer, Western Reserve Hospital. “Clear communication, compassion, and respect are the cornerstones of patient care, and we’re proud to see our nurses honored for delivering that experience. This reflects the trust our patients place in us.”
 
The survey data examined responses regarding how well patients felt that their nurses explained things clearly, listened carefully to them, and treated them with courtesy and respect. Data was collected between October 2023 and September 2024, and was just recently released in August.
 
Western Reserve Hospital is among only 34 in the state of Ohio to receive this honor.
