Daniel Adams, PA-C, MSHS, Center for Pain Medicine, and Mary Bailey, DO, Resident, have published the very first case report on suzetrigine (Journavx), a non-opioid analgesic for acute pain.
The report, “Patient-Reported Paresthesia After Administration of Suzetrigine: A Case Report”, was accepted in August and has since been published in the Journal of Pain & Palliative Care Pharmacotherapy.
Adams and Dr. Bailey reported their findings on the use of suzetrigine (Journavx), which became available in March 2025, in a 48-year-old patient following a surgical operation. Learn more here.
We applaud Daniel and Dr. Bailey on their work to publish the first case report on this medication and for contributing to the body of evidence for non-opioid treatments.
