Doctors of Tomorrow Celebrated at GME Graduation Ceremony

Dr. Ron Russ, Vice President, Medical Education presents the Surgery Faculty Award to Dr. Amy Tucker, Orthopedic Surgeon during the 2021 residency program graduation ceremony.

Western Reserve Hospital recently celebrated its Graduate Medical Education (GME) program’s 2021 residency graduates at a ceremony on June 16. Each year GME celebrates graduates and educators for the culmination of years of formal education and training and pays tribute to the hard work of these truly dedicated individuals. Graduates, faculty and guests were able to gather in-person this year for the ceremony, a welcomed return to normalcy following the pandemic. The commencement was also shared via an online live stream for those who could not attend. Special honors were also bestowed to Medicine Faculty Award recipient, Dr. Brian White and Surgery Faculty Award recipient, Dr. Amy Tucker.
