Zacharia Nelson is a Cuyahoga Falls-based painter, illustrator, and printmaker. He studied film at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia before completing a BA in ceramics at Kent State University. A lifelong passion for film and pop culture led him to a series of paintings depicting famous stars of film. With 150 works in the collection and counting, known as Hollywood Squares, Zacharia has no intention of stopping. His work has been featured by Cleveland Scene, New Day Cleveland, and the Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Partnership. He currently creates and publishes a comic book called GUM.
