Patient Greeter Volunteers

Western Reserve Hospital hosts patient greeter volunteers at hospital entrances to welcome incoming patients and guests, help them find their way around the hospital, and offer wheelchair assistance as needed.

Those interested in patient greeter volunteer opportunities can apply online below or contact the volunteer department manager to request an application. Once interviewed and accepted, applicants will undergo tuberculosis screening and a criminal background check. Patient greeter volunteers are also required to receive an annual training and flu vaccination.

Patient & Family Advisory Council Volunteers

Western Reserve Hospital recognizes that patient and family engagement is crucial in helping us provide the best possible care for our patients. The PFAC provides a forum to discuss a variety of issues and challenges affecting patients, family members, and the community to improve the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health care. It also serves an advisory resource for employees, staff, and administration by assisting in the identification of best practices, identifying gaps in services, and recommending new policies, programs, strategies, or services to best address the needs of patients and their family members.

Please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to learn more about volunteering as a Patient & Family Advisory Council member.
