Summa Western Reserve Hospital recently appointed Carrie Gallo to its newly created position of Director of Ancillary Services.
Gallo has served in several capacities within the Summa Health System since 1991. Over the past two decades, she has served as Administrative Director of Quality and Resource Management (1991-1995), Manager of Lakemore Rehab Services (1995-1997), Director of Homecare/Hospice QI, Education and Regulatory (1997-2005), and System Director of Patient Access (2005-Present).
As Director of Ancillary Services, Gallo will direct the operations of ancillary services, including, imaging, laboratory, cardiovascular, neurology/sleep medicine and respiratory services. Gallo will also direct activities of Summa Western Reserve Hospital’s off-site laboratories.
Gallo earned a B.S.N. from the University of Michigan and obtained her M.B.A. from Cleveland State University. She holds nursing licenses in both Ohio and Michigan. She is currently a member of National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and Ohio Association for Healthcare Quality (OAHQ).
