Western Reserve Hospital's cardiology team was recently recognized in the U.S. News & World Report for its CathPCI Registry and Chest Pain Accreditation status.

The CathPCI Registry is maintained by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is used to track the outcomes of PCI procedures and evaluate hospitals for its Best Hospitals rankings.

Chest Pain Accreditation is a certification that is given to hospitals that have met the standards set by the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). The ACCP is a professional organization that is dedicated to the advancement of chest medicine. The chest pain accreditation is designed to ensure that hospitals have the resources and expertise to provide high-quality care to patients with chest pain.
