Sept. 10, 2015 — Western Reserve Hospital has earned a 2015 NorthCoast 99 award, recognizing the hospital as one of Northeast Ohio’s best workplaces. Awarded annually by the Employer’s Resource Council, the NorthCoast 99 award is given to 99 of Northeast Ohio’s best workplaces whose programs, practices, work environment and high employee satisfaction attract and retain top performers.
“In healthcare, top talent means employing people who care about others, perform their best in high-stress situations and always put a patient’s needs above their own,” said Dr. Robert Kent, president and CEO, Western Reserve Hospital. “Our hospital has one of the most outstanding staffs in Northeast Ohio, and this award is a credit to their talent, dedication and exemplary performance.”
“We’ve been very excited to see the stories from this year’s NorthCoast 99 winning organizations and how they’ve created cultures for top performers to thrive,” said Pat Perry, president, ERC. “NorthCoast 99 has transformed from a workplace competition to a movement. We see it every day and are gratified that more and more local CEOs are shifting toward a great workplace strategy.”
This year’s NorthCoast 99 winners will be honored at a Sept. 24 recognition dinner at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. More than 800 guests are expected to attend.
Now in its 17th year, the NorthCoast 99 award program was developed by ERC, which is considered the area’s leading professional services organization dedicated to HR services. ERC comprises more than 1,000 member organizations and provides a variety of training and consultation services designed to improve the workplace.
