Western Reserve Hospital Celebrates National Healthcare Quality Week

Recognizing the contributions of quality professionals in delivering expertise to healthcare professionals

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, October 19, 2018 — Healthcare quality professionals at Western Reserve Hospital proudly join the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and those across the nation in celebrating Healthcare Quality Week, October 21-27.

The week brings greater recognition for the healthcare quality profession and the contributions and impact these professionals make in their organization.

“During Healthcare Quality Week we recognize those in our organization who perform work critical for improving outcomes, increasing efficiencies and reducing costs,” said Dr. Robert Kent, President and CEO of Western Reserve Hospital. “These individuals, though often behind the scenes, help our physicians, nurses and other caregivers ensure Western Reserve Hospital is always providing the highest-quality care to the communities we serve.”

Every day, healthcare quality professionals at Western Reserve Hospital contribute to the delivery of high-quality care through leading continuous improvement initiatives, effecting, monitoring, and analyzing existing and new processes and outcome measures, keeping patients safe and limiting risk, and ensuring regulatory and accreditation requirements are achieved.
