Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, November 13, 2018 - Western Reserve Hospital and the City of Cuyahoga Falls honored local veterans and their families recently at the ninth annual Veterans Day Luncheon and Celebration at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, the largest event of its kind in Summit and Portage Counties.
Dr. Robert Kent, President and CEO of Western Reserve Hospital emceed the event, which also included The Cuyahoga Falls Police Honor Guard and a veteran pining ceremony with Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Walters, Stow Mayor John Pribonic, and Silver Lake Mayor Bernie Hovey. The celebration also included musical performances by Woodridge High School’s Show Choir and the A Capella Choir Ambassadors. A Table of Significance honoring Prisoners of War was also set at the front of the room in honor of fallen, missing and imprisoned military service members.
Western Reserve Hospital Senior Coalition members also provided raffled door prizes for veterans and their guests.
