HARVEST FOR HUNGER

(During the month of March)

One in six Ohioans struggles to put food on the table. 

This March, we welcome donated canned goods in our effort to end hunger in our community. Harvest for Hunger donation barrels will be located outside the Western Reserve Hospital cafeteria. 

Cash or check donations are also accepted. Please make checks payable to “The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank” and deliver them to Katarina Saltis’ office located behind the Hospital Administration Office.

Weight Loss support group meetings

Support group meetings are presented by Tonya Thomas, CNP, CBN and focus on postoperative education, support and motivation for patients and their families. In addition to guest speakers, there will be a group discussion to allow patients an opportunity to share with each other.

ALl City art walk

Spring into Art! during the All City Art Walk. Features include artwork from students grades K-12, music, photo booths, food, make it take it activities and interactive art projects. Locations include City Hall, First Christian Church, Harps & Thistles Yarn Emporium, Metropolis Popcorn, Pav's Creamery, Yum-Yum Sweet Shop, Celia's Boutique, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, CF Chamber of Commerce and the Pavillion at Falls Riversquare.

Bark in the Park - WALKERS WANTED

Join the Western Reserve Hospital 'Tails on the Trails' team and walk at Bark in the Park to help gather donations for abused and neglected animals in Summit County. This family-friendly event includes a one-mile pledge walk, 80 expo vendors, blessing of the animals, food trucks, beer garden, live entertainment, interactive games, giveaways, demonstrations, raffles and more!
