COVID-19 UPDATE - TO ENSURE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PATIENT AND STAFF SAFETY DURING THE OUTBREAK, WE WILL BE TEMPORARILY CHANGING OUR VISITATION POLICY. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. 


VISITATION POLICIES – Effective Monday, June 15, 2020

ALL VISITATION IS SUSPENDED WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:

  • Visitors must have a mask/face covering to enter the facility

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VISITOR GUIDELINES

Effective Friday, August 7th, patients in the Emergency Department (ED) will be permitted only one (1) visitor. The visitor:

  • May be family member or friend
  • Must be the same visitor for the duration of the patient’s stay in the ED
  • Must stay with the patient in the room, may leave to use the hospital’s restroom or onsite cafeteria and vending area
  • If the visitor leaves, the hospital building, they will be unable to return the same day 

Exceptions are made for those ED patients who are in final stages of life or have been moved to emergency surgery. In these circumstances, the patient may have one visitor at a time, for 15 minutes, and it may be different individuals. All visitors must be screened and if they screen positive for temperature or symptoms, entry will not be allowed. 


INPATIENT VISITOR GUIDELINES 

  • Visiting Hours:   
    - M – F,  8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    - Sat & Sun. - Inpatient Visitation, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (USE ENTRANCE 2 ONLY)
  • Must be approved by patient
  • No more than two (2) inpatient visitors on the patient approved list; only one (1) visitor per emergency patient
  • ONE (1) visitor per day
  • Visitor to provide/wear face covering upon arrival and during entire visit
  • All visitors are to enter (and exit) through the main entrance (entrance #2)
  • Visitor will be screened, verified, and provided a sticker to identify they are approved to visit

 
OUTPATIENT SURGERY AND SERVICES VISITOR GUIDELINES

  • Visiting Hours:   M – F,  8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Outpatient surgery – one (1) visitor only for patients 17 and under OR patients with special needs
  • Outpatient services – one (1) visitor only for patients 17 and under OR patients with special needs
  • Pediatric patients – one (1) visitor only for patients 17 and under


OTHER VISITOR GUIDELINES

  • Patients in isolation are not permitted visitors
  • No visitors for COVID positive or R/O patient status; no overnight visitation; no one under the age of 18
  • Patients who are hospice (actively or stable); non-hospice – actively dying patients are allowed more than one visitor per day, only ONE at a time and is to be coordinated through the respective unit.
  • Clergy, who are to have their own face covering, may visit 24/7


PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS PERMITTED AS A VISITOR AT ANY TIME.

ALL PATIENTS, VISITORS AND STAFF WILL HAVE TEMPERATURES TAKEN/CHECKED AND WILL BE ASKED SEVERAL SCREENING QUESTIONS BEFORE ENTERING.

ANYONE ENTERING THE HOSPITAL MUST WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING.

If you are experiencing a FEVER, NEW COUGH and/or SHORTNESS OF BREATH and other FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, for your safety and that of our patients, YOU WILL BE ADVISED ON WHAT TO DO BASED ON THE SEVERITY OF YOUR SYMPTOMS AND MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE BUILDING.  

ENTRANCE HOURS

TIMES THAT OUR HOSPITAL ENTRANCE DOORS REMAIN OPEN FOR PUBLIC ACCESS HAVE CHANGED. PLEASE CONSULT OUR MAP HERE FOR IDENTIFICATION OF ENTRANCES AND THE NEW HOURS BELOW. 

  • Entrance 2 – Main Lobby – Open M-F, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. / Sat. & Sun., 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Entrance 3 – Easy Street – Closed 

  • Entrance to Professional Building – Closed 

  • Entrance 5 – Outpatient Registration – Open M-F, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

  • Entrance 1 – Suites 1100 and 1200 – Entry provided by appointment only – please call the office you are visiting when you arrive so a staff member can come and escort you into the building)

  • Entrance 4 – Emergency Department – Open 24 hours/7 days
