VISITATION

COVID-19 UPDATE - TO ENSURE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PATIENT AND STAFF SAFETY, WE WILL BE TEMPORARILY CHANGING OUR VISITATION POLICIES. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. 

FACE MASK POLICY - 
FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY.
Nose and mouth must be covered with mask. Please wear isolation/surgical masks instead of cloth masks or other cloth alternatives. If you do not have an isolation/surgical mask, one will be provided to you, if available. To learn more, click here


REVISED VISITATION POLICIES UPDATE – Effective November 27, 2020

  • Inpatient: No visitors with the following exceptions:
    • Patients who are hospice (actively or stable); non-hospice – actively dying patients may be permitted visitation to be coordinated through the respective unit.
    • Clergy, who are to have their own face covering, may visit 24/7
    • We are happy to offer free virtual visitation options. Please contact the appropriate nursing unit for more details:
      • 2 West: (330) 971-7259       
      • 3 West: (330) 971-7283     
      • ICU: (330) 971-7248
  • Inpatient Surgery: One (1) visitor only for thirty (30) minutes following the surgery, permitted for a single visit, visitation to be coordinated through the respective unit.
  • Outpatient Surgery, Outpatient Services and Emergency Department: No visitors with the following exception:
    • One (1) visitor or caregiver is permitted only if needed for assistance; once patient is in a room/testing, visitor will be required to wait in car
  • WRHPI Physician Offices: No visitors with the following exception:
    • One (1) visitor or caregiver is permitted only if needed for assistance
  • Pediatric Patients (less than 18 years old): Two (2) parents or legal guardian
  • Isolation: No visitors for patients in any type of isolation precautions

NOTE: Exceptions to the above will be made on a case-by-case basis in working with Nursing Leadership, CNO or CMO. 


PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS PERMITTED AS A VISITOR AT ANY TIME.

ALL PATIENTS, VISITORS AND STAFF WILL HAVE TEMPERATURES TAKEN/CHECKED AND WILL BE ASKED SEVERAL SCREENING QUESTIONS BEFORE ENTERING.

ANYONE ENTERING THE HOSPITAL MUST WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING, COVERING NOSE AND MOUTH AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE WEAR AN ISOLATION/SURGICAL MASK INSTEAD OF A CLOTH MASK - WEAR THIS, NOT THAT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ISOLATION/SURGICAL MASK, ONE WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU, IF AVAILABLE. 

If you are experiencing a FEVER, NEW COUGH and/or SHORTNESS OF BREATH or other FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, for your safety and that of our patients, YOU WILL BE ADVISED ON WHAT TO DO BASED ON THE SEVERITY OF YOUR SYMPTOMS AND MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE BUILDING.  

ENTRANCE HOURS

TIMES THAT OUR HOSPITAL ENTRANCE DOORS REMAIN OPEN FOR PUBLIC ACCESS HAVE CHANGED. PLEASE CONSULT OUR MAP HERE FOR IDENTIFICATION OF ENTRANCES AND THE NEW HOURS BELOW. 

  • Entrance 2 – Main Lobby – Open M-F, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. / Effective Saturday, Nov. 28, the Main Entrance will be closed on weekends and holidays until further notice. Patients may enter through the ED
  • Entrance 3 – Easy Street – Closed 
  • Entrance to Professional Building – Closed 
  • Entrance 5 – Outpatient Registration – Open M-F, 6:45 a.m. – 5 p.m. / Closed Weekends & Holidays
  • Entrance 1 – Suites 1100 and 1200 – Entry provided by appointment only – please call the office you are visiting when you arrive so a staff member can come and escort you into the building)
  • Entrance 4 – Emergency Department – Open 24 hours/7 days
