Graduate Medical Education at Western Reserve Hospital

Western Reserve Hospital features a strong osteopathic Graduate Medical Education program. Our training is all-inclusive, enabling physicians to grow in their chosen area of medicine. We are affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Accredited by the American Osteopathic Association and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, Western Reserve Hospital offers residency programs in emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and otolaryngology/facial plastic surgery. Western Reserve Hospital also has a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery-36 residency accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. Our residents rotate among several area teaching institutions, including Summa Health System, The Cleveland Clinic, and MetroHealth Medical Center.
